I am feeling all kinds of overwhelmed lately, but just this morning I got some news that adds something awesomely overwhelming to my life.

There's this big tribal belly dance conference in Fort Worth every January that Drishti loves to go to. At least three of us have gone for the past 4 years. It's a really wonderful and special event, with lots of classes to sign up for and amazing performances two evenings.

We just found out this morning that we get to teach a class at the next one!!

This has been a dream of ours for two years, and we've thrown out random thoughts and comments about what we would teach. A couple weeks ago, one of the organizers posted they were interested in more up-and-coming teachers so if you have a class idea, send it her way.

So we did, and I kind of didn't think we'd get chosen, but I thought at least we'd get our name in there for the future. But found out this morning we are in!


This has an extra level of excitement for me personally, because one of my personal dreams is to be so awesome at something that I'm asked to speak at a conference. This is, of course, not quite that, but it's close enough that I'm feeling really amazing about it.
